A PP'sPs about Home

I'm not sure how I'm even able to write this sentence, but, at 8:45 Saturday night, Christy went home to be with her Lord. I have no words to describe my joy for her and the incredible loss for me and her family. I pray that I will have the strength to echo the words of Job:

Naked I came from my mother's womb,
Naked I shall return.
Blessed be the Name of the Lord.

Oh Josh, I'm so sorry. We are grieving with you. I know words are pretty useless right now, so just know that we're praying.

I cannot begin to wrap my mind around the concept of not having Christy readily available in our lives. I will alway cherish her and our memories at ACL. For me, I will remember Christy on her wedding day. I remember the way you all locked eyes on her way up the aisle. I will remember her as a beautiful bride. Although, this time will be challenging for those that loved and adored Christy, I am assured that she has entered the gates of Heaven looking as bright and pure as she did on her wedding day. My prayers are with you and the family during this time. Please let me know if you need anything.

I only knew you 2 through work here @ ACL. I always admired the fight in that beautiful woman. Any time I seen her, I would see that even in the face of adversity she triumphed. I only talked to her and josh a couple of times on the phone, but I could tell they are both great people. I cannot fathom the loss the hildebrand family is going through, from the husband to the mother. I am virtually a stranger to you guys, but you changed my life without knowing it. I will pray for you........

Josh, this is Julie Anderson at the Transy Registrar's Office. Christy was such a dear person to us and we are devastated by the news of her passing. Christy demonstrated strength in adversity and she was such a roll model for me every day. I can still see the look on her face (a very sheepish look) when she told us she was dating someone special. Then to experience her joy in your marriage was beyond compare. I am joyful that she is home with Jesus and that she is free of the physical pain she endured on earth. She is among the angels in heaven singing praises to her Lord. My prayers are with you and her family during this difficult time. Christy was loved by everyone who knew her because her spirit was contagious.

Blessings,
Julie Anderson

Nerissa Gregoire asked me to post the following, " I remember the first day Christy walked in to the Arthritis Center of Lexington and into our lives to work. She came walking in stiff legged carrying her lunch in a little brown paper bag and wearing a huge smile that covered her entire face. She beamed from her head to her toes. She was so "pixie" beautiful. Christy's kindness was such an inspiration to all of us here at ACL. She was never a complainer. She was a "doer". She was never negative. She was such a positive role model. Josh & Christy were such a complete and perfect match. They were a "God send" to each other. You could just tell by the way they looked at each other. May God bless you Josh and  the rest of Christy's family during these difficult days of sorrow. Josh, you have lost a diamond in this lifetime, but heaven has gained a perfect little jewel."

Josh...
I don't know you, but I knew Christy. She was a freshman when I was a senior at Transy. We were both AOIIs. I didn't know her well, but I remember her... she was always so sweet and kind and sunshiney.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss.
I set up a tribute page for her through the Arthritis Foundation website.
People can leave testimonials and give donations in honor of Christy there.

I will be thinking of you.
